Electricsheep save directory

However, my /home is on a SSD and I decided that maybe it is not a good idea to have the constantly evolving sheep stored in ~/.electricsheep. Therefore I looked for a way to specify a different directory.

Freetype hinting mode

I immediately noticed that hinting was awful. I tried changing the settings in Xfce, but there was no improvement. Finally, I realised that it should be set up elsewhere.

Playing DOOM on Linux

There was even a discount in the beginning of January. I searched SBo for a way to play the game and it seems to offer quite a lot of options. After some reading and tries, I decided that the best option for me is prboom-plus. So, here’s what I did:

Archaeopteryx configuration 2

I have set it to use native ui, as described in my old post. However, some things have changed meanwhile, so in order to have a white background, additional tweaks are required.
