Electricsheep save directory

is on a SSD and I decided that maybe it is not a good idea to have the constantly evolving sheep stored in ~/.electricsheep
. Therefore I looked for a way to specify a different directory.

Vivaldi HTML5 Proprietary Media

It is available from SBo, where the recommended dependencies are pepperflash-plugin, ffmpeg and vivaldi-codecs-ffmpeg-extra. However, I still seemed to experience problems with some websites content. Maybe I did something wrong…

Mounting an iPhone

Of course, I naively expected that when I plug it in my computer, it will behave. Well, it doesn’t. The phone has iOS 11 and in Slackware 14.2 the system sees it, but there’s no way to mount it. In Slackware -current I can access my photos only. Well, I googled a bit and here’s what I did on -current.

Microphone mute key

The Microphone key does not work out-of-the-box, and I finally decided to search a bit for a solution. I found this nice post about Ubuntu.

Swap speakers

Simply, cabling will be much easier this way. I cannot set this in the speakers themselves, so I searched for a software solution. I googled around and found this discussion for Ubuntu. One of the posts had the solution, that works also for Slackware.
