I even maintain at SBo the GTK1 Industrial engine/theme. Unfortunatelly, there is no port to GTK3 and seems there will not be anytime soon. Just as with almost all famous GTK2 engines/themes. New themes are emerging following the flat design fashion that I am really not fond of.

Thunar: do not execute shell script files

I miss the functionality of Nautilus, where I could tell the file browser to directly open such shell script files in a text editor when double clicked.

Mount a remote folder by sshfs
Posted: 2016-03-04 Filed under: desktop, network, system | Tags: fusermount, mount, ssfs, ssh 1 CommentI have several computers at home, all behind a router. Sometimes, I need to access files between computers and so far I have always used ssh either in the terminal or by gftp.
However, I wanted to be able to mount certain folder remotely in a seamless way, as if it was on the computer I was currently using. This can easily be done by sshfs. It is not part of Slackware, but can be found at SBo: sshfs-fuse.
