Firefox: disable click and hold requirement

One if the things I noticed first with Firefox was the weird (for me) right click behaviour. I need to right click and hold, otherwise the mouse cursor will automatically click on the menu. That’s not something I want to get used to.

Firefox: window decoration and snippets

I’ve been looking back to Firefox recently, after the latest release of Chrome showing some weird behavior. I am still not sure I want to change my browser, at least not until I am sure I can set it up to my liking. I have not used it for years and the interface have changes quite a bit, successfully mimicking Chrome. Anyway, upon start there were two things that I wanted to change immediately: the window decoration and the so called snippets.

uBlock Origin

I was never too happy with the different web browser Ad Blockers, but I was too busy to actively start searching for different options. There was a discussion on LQ about browsers, where uBlock Origin was discussed. So, I decided to give it a try.

Flagfox: display server country

Going through some old screenshots of mine, I remembered about a neat little plugin, called Flagfox. It is available for SeaMonkey and of course Firefox. This extension displays the country where the server hosting the webpage currently viewed is located. Bookmark Toolbar Menu Button

My bookmarks toolbar has a lot of links (listed here under ‘Academic’). I do not have space for all of them to be displayed and recently I searched for a possible solution. I came across the Bookmark Toolbar Menu Button expansion for SeaMonkey. It is available also for Firefox.
