Firefox: window decoration and snippets

I’ve been looking back to Firefox recently, after the latest release of Chrome showing some weird behavior. I am still not sure I want to change my browser, at least not until I am sure I can set it up to my liking. I have not used it for years and the interface have changes quite a bit, successfully mimicking Chrome. Anyway, upon start there were two things that I wanted to change immediately: the window decoration and the so called snippets.

Bookmark Toolbar Menu Button

My bookmarks toolbar has a lot of links (listed here under ‘Academic’). I do not have space for all of them to be displayed and recently I searched for a possible solution. I came across the Bookmark Toolbar Menu Button expansion for SeaMonkey. It is available also for Firefox.

Extra toolbar buttons in SeaMonkey

Start from current slide in Impress

I use LibreOffice and sometimes, when I go through a presentation I want to enter full screen mode from the current slide. This can be done by pressing SHIFT + F5, but I decided to put a button in the toolbar. Read the rest of this entry »
