Remove new lines from a text file

Copying works, but the line breaks from the PDF formatting are also copied. This messes up the text and results in disconnected text with many rows. I decided to use the command line to fix this automatically. I searched a bit and it seems that there are two steps that have to be taken.

uBlock Origin

There was a discussion on LQ about browsers, where uBlock Origin was discussed. So, I decided to give it a try.

XFS: corruption of in-memory

I’ve been building packages in a virtual machine (VB 5.2.28 r130011) of Slackware 14.2 x86_64. All was going fine until my desktop, the host machine, completely froze. Could not go to another runlevel or anything. In the end, I pushed the reset button, and upon boot my /home partition (sda3) did not mount.

Syntax highlighting

I want to put it in a frame as a separate “figure”, referred to in the text as “Box ##”. To make it clearer to the reader, I want to have the appropriate syntax highlighting. How to do it?

Cropping an image in Inkscape

This included arranging imported pictures, setting their size, proportions and more. I needed an easy way to crop images that have been already imported in Inkscape. Usually, I would just make sure that everything is in the correct size before importing. Well, pedantic as this might be, it is time consuming.
