Firefox location bar: show “http://”

I like Firefox to show “http://” in the location bar, just like it was once upon a time. A quick search pointed mew to the rather easy solution. So, I opened a new tab, typed about:config and after promising to be careful I set the value of the following row from true to false:

browser.urlbar.trimURLs

This is it!
