Removing multilib

system, at least on one of my computers. I rarely use Adobe Acrobat Reader, I have Skype running on my phone and, there’s of course ZeroUno’s package if I happen to need Skype on my computer. I decided to simply use slackpkg
, to clean up the system and revert to the gcc-*
and glibc-*
packages from the original installation.

Murrine 32-bit on Slackware64 -multilib

I installed Skype from SlackBuilds.org and it behaves. I wanted it to use my current GTK2 theme, which uses the murrine engine. So, in stead of converting a 32bit package, I decided to just compile the murrine engine as a 32bit program. Read the rest of this entry »
