Virtualbox shared folder

Therefore I need an easy way to transfer the scripts and other files between the host and guest machines.
Solution: I use VirtualBox installed from the All distributions AMD64 binary. The host is running pure Slackware64 and the guest additions are installed in the Slackware32 guest. Read the rest of this entry »
Make 32bit programs use the current GTK theme

Solution: first, make your system multilib, following AlienBob’s instructions and check the corresponding section from Slackware-FAQ. I used exactly same engine as the example — murrine. Read the rest of this entry »
Seamonkey/Firefox file associations

UTF-8

Solution: Launch such programs with a custom LANG setting set in their .desktop file.
