Git: make local repo exactly like remote

It’s an excellent tool, however, it has a limitation of how often you can sync with SlackBuilds.org. Usually this does not bother me, because I run an update once per week, after the Public www update (usually on Saturday). Every now and then, slackrepo will not see the updated SBo immediately, because it won’s sync.

Own packages repository

Exactly the same idea as SlackOnly, but made by me for my own use (not public). The tool to use is SlackRepo, which has extensive documentation, that I highly recommend. This post is not meant as a tutorial on how to use SlackRepo. It merely lists the settings I used and the steps I took for my own use.
