Wacom input drivers

I bought a Wacom Intuos CTL-4100, since I need to draw some schemes during online meetings and I am really bad with the mouse. I installed libwacom and xournalpp from SBo.  Everything works as it should on Slackware -current, however it does not work on 14.2.

Well, I did not exactly feel like upgrading my kernel, so I searched a bit and found this discussion in the forums of Linux Mint. Following the instructions, I downloaded the sources of input-wacom from GitHub, version 0.46.0 at the moment.

As stated on the web-page:

Our drivers are included in most major Linux distributions and provide out-of-the box support for a wide variety of Wacom tablets and component devices.

This seems to be the case with -current. I considered making a SlackBuild script, but since I just wanted the thing to work on 14.2 as soon as possible, I compiled and installed it manually:

./configure
make
make install # as root

Reboot and it just works!
