I’ve been working on a manuscript in the last couple of months (more, actually). I am not going to discuss whether pre-prints are cool or not, however, they sometimes are necessary. For example, when writing a grant application, it definitely looks better to show the actual work in progress, rather than just stating “manuscript in preparation”, “submitted” or “under revision”.
I have a long column of data that I want to make into a chart. The problem is that the column has over 50000 rows and processing it gets problematic. I looked for a way to average every Nth number of rows, in order to speed up things.
